DockDogs 2005

Hi Sue:

I recently helped put together a team challenge "series" for DockDogs. It will run for the entire year (until DockDogs Nationals in October) and will benefit each "team's" favorite canine organization. All the info is on this link: www.dockdogs.com/2005_team_charity.htm

Basically, its a way for Big Air people to come together across the country and give a little to their favorite canine organizations or even to discover one. All the fee from teams' registration will go directly to the winning teams' organization and right now there is a lot of interest from DockDogs competitors.

I hope you will be happy to find that there is a team that has formed and will be "playing" for Rondout Valley Animals for Adoption. We plan to WIN! Here's the team: 2003 Great Outdoor Games Gold Medalist (and Clean Run WEave Pole record-holder for Mondo dogs): Skeeter (black lab) & Terry Casey 2004 Great Outdoor Games Participant: Sarge (GSP) & Amanda Tarasewicz and your own little Clementine & me!

Here is Sarge's website: www.sargethedog.com And Clem's: www.teamclem.com

We will be updating the sites with the info regarding the Team Challenge, along with adding a link to your site.

By the way, here's a story that was written about Clem & I recently on a Big Air website: www.sportmutt.com/training/garage/nadjaclem_smt.htm

Pumpkin Pull 2004

We had a beautiful day for our pumpkin pull--12 dogs pulled. 1st prize went to Shocker-unaltered pit, 2nd and 3rd went to neutered pits. One of the pits was not motivated with food, but kept attacking the pumpkins as if they were a ball, so we rolled it down the course for him to chase--he won 3rd place! Lots of fun!
